DR. KAY
Dr. Kay is a board-certified pediatrician, Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP), and Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), providing exceptional care to children throughout the Sarasota and Tampa Bay area. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida and returned home to pursue her postgraduate studies at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine (USF). During this time, she completed her Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences and Doctorate. She also completed her internship and pediatric residency at USF.
Happy Soul Pediatrics was created to help restore the patient-physician relationship and improve the healthcare experience. Through our membership-based model, we bring all your pediatric needs to you in the comfort of your home. Using a holistic approach, Dr. Kay collaborates with families to provide comprehensive personalized care. She believes that, in addition to traditional evidence-based medicine, good nutrition, sleep, exercise, and mindfulness are all key components of optimal health. It is our goal to create an environment where you and your family feel safe, heard, and respected.
Dr. Kay was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, family, and friends. She also enjoys cooking healthy meals, reading good books, exercising, and traveling.
WELL VISITS
Routine wellness exams allow us to evaluate your child holistically; not only monitoring their growth and development but assessing their physical and emotional needs. Dr. Kay believes that being proactive with your family’s healthcare goals allows for quick intervention if any issues arise. During our time together, we will discuss all of your concerns no matter how big or small. Remember, your pediatrician is here to collaborate with you to ensure the optimal health of your child.
DIRECT ACCESS
All members have easy, unlimited access to Dr. Kay by telephone, telemedicine, secure text messaging, and the patient portal. No answering service, just one on one communication between you and your pediatrician.
